What are the parts of a Mass in order?

Answer:

Roman Catholic Answer

There are two parts to the Mass, historically they were know as the Mass of the Catechumens, and the Mass of the Faithful, because in the first centuries of the church the Catechumens had to leave at the end of the readings. They are know called the Liturgy of the Word, and the Liturgy of the Eucharist. The first part of the Mass includes the entrance and penitential rite, the readings, the homily, creed, intercessions. The second part of the Mass begins with the gifts being brought to the altar, the Offertory, the Canon, or Eucharistic Prayer, the Our Father, the Peace, the Lamb of God, and Holy Communion, thanksgiving, and dismissal.
