What are the parts of a cello?

Answer:
The parts of a cello are: First, the pegs on the very top are tuning pegs. They are used to change the pitch of the strings. Second, the long part connecting the tuning pegs and the body of the cello is called the neck. On the neck is a black piece of plastic called the fingerboard. On the fingerboard are the strings ans you probably know. Follow the strings down the cello until you reach a piece of wood that is called the bridge. this is used for holding the strings up above the cello so you can play them. Next to the bridge in the body of the cello are 2 holes that look like a cursive f. These are called the F Holes. Next, below the bridge are some smaller pegs near the bottom of the cello. These are the fine tuners. They are used for changing the sound of the string from sharp to flat. then at the bottom of the cello is a peg that can be pulled out. This is the called the spike and can be called many other things. Those are most of the parts of the cello. If you are starting to play the instrument, I hope you have fun. I have been playing the cello for 4 years with no regrets. Good Luck!
