Generally speaking, the "parts of an email address" are the username or 'local part' and the mail server/computer name, subdomain (if one exists), and the top-level domain. The username and domain are always separated by the at sign or "@" symbol. Which, by the way, evolved from the phrase "at the rate of" in accounting and commercial invoices, but that's a whole other fish to fry... If there is a subdomain, it may look simialar to this: username@sub.domain.com If there is no subdomain in the mail server/computer network it may look like this: username@domain.com And then, depending on the level of complexity of your organization's email directory, there may be other conventions in the username, or 'local-part' to differentiate users like this: joe.username@domain.com
The two parts of an e-mail address are called the user and the host:
tony@company.com
User: tony
Host: company.com
When you send an e-mail the host is looked up. The e-mail is sent to the correct host, then the host uses the user to send it to the right inbox.

Without the complete address you can't send an email. To obtain the complete address you might try: 1] Contacting the receiver by other means to get the address 2] Using a search engine to run a web search on the receiver to see if their email address is available anywhere else, or if they have a web page with a mail link. Perhaps the URL of any web page they may have may help you complete the missing parts of the email address.
