What are the parts of mass called?

There are two parts to the Mass. The first is called The Liturgy of the Word, in which readings from The Bible are proclaimed. Also included in this part are a Penitential Rite, a hymn of praise to God (Glory to God in the Highest) a Homily, The Nicean Creed, and the Prayers of the Faithful.
The second part is called the Liturgy of the Eucharist. This is where the consecration of bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ takes place. Also included are the Lord's Prayer, an Exchange of Peace, Communion distrubution, and Final Blessing (Ite Missa Est, in Latin "Go Forth to Proclaim the Word of God").
