It depends on what country your from, here in New Zealand there are no penaltys for road rage, in fact the police often laugh off road rage complaints. This means its completely legal to recklessly pursue/tailgate another motorist, ram there car off the road and give the other driver "the biggest hiding theyve ever had"; (although the law classifys these offences as wilful damage and assault) even if your victim tooted at you as a warning of an impending accident when you ran a stop sign/red light etc. New Zealand drivers think they are always right and DO NOT Like being told they are wrong, and sounding your horn is a big mistake as most drivers take the sound of ones horn as offensive and disrespectful - this has resulted in many road rage incidents (including violent) in this country.
