What are the physical characteristics of a person of English ethnicity?

The Welsh are a British Isles people and don't differ much from Irish, Scottish and Engish people. The little difference lies in the old Celtic strain which is probably strongest among the Welsh, however some Irish folks may equal them. In comparison to other Europeans, they seem to be narrower and longer-headed, this incudes their kin( other Brits). In complexion, they're generally like other Brits people, most adults have a very fair skin or freckled, medium brown hair and light eyes. Additionally there's also a large red-haired minority. However the Welsh due to a higher proportion of old Celtic strain, they also have a higher proportion of darker hair than other Brits, also other Northern Europeans. That doesn't make them as dark as Spaniards/Portuguese/Greeks! The contrast is that only the Irish and Scottish surpass slightly the Welsh in terms of the ratio of red-haired people in the world. At the same time, Wales probably has the highest ratio of dark-haired people in Northern Europe.

43% have dark hair,

35% have medium brown hair,

10% have red and reddish-brown hair,

a minority with light hair.

The eye color is about evenly divided between blue eyes and mixed eye colour.

About 90% have rather fair skin, 10% have a 'brunet white' skin tone (in the Midlands). 60% have no freckling at all.

The combination of dark hair and light eyes seems noticeable among Irish.

Not speaking stereotypically, an English person would typically have a skin tone called English rose. Not extremely pale. Often the eyes are roundish, with a light color such as blue, green or gray. A long, straight nose is not uncommon. Usually they are tallish and slim. I'd say their style is classy and very trendy. Hope that helps!

People of true English ethnicity are very similar in appearance to the other northern Europeans such as the Norwegians, Swedish, Dutch, German, Danish, Icelandic and Finnish.

A person of English ethnicity may have blue eyes and very blonde hair as a child. The women would tend to stay blonder than the men as the men would become light or medium brown hair, not dark, as they age. The English are relatively tall as are most Northern Europeans. So on average they would be blonde or light brown hired with blue eyes and tall.

But, of course, this is only an average or stereotype and many people with long English ancestries are dark or short.
