Positive
-can be used to exchange tools
- is small, light, portable
-has many applications, like games, and built in applications like internet, video recorders, cameras, and emailing and texting
-can access the Internet without a heavy laptop
Negative
-poor interpersonal bonding as a result of Facebook, and easy texting and emailing
-negative effect on kids' brain development
-can cause impatience, after being used to getting everything instantaneously
-a distraction to work, the beeping can cause you to constantly check your phone

The bad thing is that you can have you grammar ruined up by texting and they are a huge distration while driving
