A person with blood group AB has a genotype I^A/I^B and a person with blood group B has genotype I^B/i. The possibilities of the blood group of the child would be combination of the above genotype which would be:

I^B/i

The blood groups thus possible would be AB, A and B. Thus, the child could be of blood group AB, A or B.
