Ha ha. Well.... I suppose that you should walk in, find a place to stand where you aren't touching anyone else (if possible), and turn toward the door so that you are ready to exit. Allow people nearer to the door to exit first. Do not comment upon other people's clothing or smell. It is acceptable to say "have a nice day" when someone exits, but usually only if you know the person, or if there are very few people in the elevator. Saying it from a crowd of 5 people will just confuse the person exiting. Otherwise, remain silent, and enter and exit as quickly as possible without jostling anyone, in order to allow others to also reach their destinations expeditiously.
