Maritime climate means a moist or wet climate.
The properties of maritime climate are precipitation and prevailing winds.
This happens because it has to travel accross a lot of sea and oceans and picks up moist and it makes it wet. The precipitation happens because the wind sweeps south-west mostly and goes from cold to hot to cold to hot and therefore changes the precipitation around us.
There are a variety of animals that can found in maritime climates. Blue whales, gray seals, osprey, and river otters can all be found in maritime climates.
