Depending on the country it can be much easier to adopt a baby. In China girls are lower on the food chain than boys so adopting a baby girl is easier. One must remember that money also speaks volumes in different countries, but, in many cases it's still easier to adopt in another country than in Western countries.

A couple has the option of going through a lawyer to adopt as well or, a surrogate mother. This will also call for a lawyer's advice.
