I believe that a person who supervises other personnel should know the jobs and what the personnel do that you Supervise. A supervisor should know the job and be able to help the person that he/she supervises. Informing them of any new changes or new procedures for the task that are assigned to their personnel. A Supervisor leads and shows what need to be done on the job.
