Main reason of Poverty specially in India is the Population Explosion. The population is increasing day by day at a higher rate.
Poverty is one of the greatest problems of the world. It is prevailing in India since many years.The Government is not able to adapt professions for its growing population.And this results for many of them to have no occupations and some of them go empty stomach for days.They do not effectively contribute to the development of the country.
So, overall, the primary reasons for poverty in any country include:
- increased population
- lack of planning for conception, having more children
- lack of education, inferior education
- too many workers available for too few jobs
- lack of skilled jobs for skilled workers
- unemployment or under-employment
- lack of personal savings
- lack of restraint on personal spending
- or any combination of these factors
