The regions of the body are usually referring to the abdominal regions which are divided into nine individual locations; Right Hypochondriac, Epigastric, Left Hypochondriac, Right Lumbar, Umbilical, Left Lumbar, Right Iliac, Hypogastric, & Left Iliac.

This depends on how you're looking at the body. If you mean organ systems, or what? Of course the head, torso, and limbs could be considered the main parts outwardly. The main systems are the skeletal system, the muscles, the nervous system, the respiratory system, the digestive system, the renal system, the lymph system, and the cardiovascular system.

There are several basic areas of the body:

Cervical - the spine

Ocular - the eyes

Clavicular - the clavicle (upper corners of torso)

Acromial - shoulder joint area

Brachial - mid/upper humerus (bicep/triceps)

Cubital - elbow

Carpal - hands

Abdominal - half of torso, below diaphragm

Thoracic - half of torso, above diaphragm

Pelvic and Pubic - pelvis (hips), near pubis and ilium

Geniculate - knee

Pedal - foot
