What are the requirements for getting into UCLA?

Answer:

"Hardwork is capable of overcoming Genius"

I took what I believed to be the safest route to getting into college, it may sound tough and it definetly will be tough but it will make life easier.

Take as many Ap Classes as possible, but sheer numbers will not count, PASS them as well, you don't have to pass all, just make sure you pass more than you don't pass.

Take both SATs and ACTs, I highly recommend taking both at least twice, and if you continue to work on it after the first one, it is guranteed that you will get a higher score. If you get discouraged after you first score, as I definetly did, simply turn that into motivation and add a little pressure for yourself

UC system also requires SAT IIs as well i believe, so if you are going to take them, take them in the AP subjects that you have already or are studying, that's where AP Courses really come in handy because they do share quiet a breadth in common.

As for GPA, B+ to A- average, I don't believe a C average student necessarily has the drive for UCLA, if you are a C average student, it's still possible, just a steeper hill to climb that's all. AP passes and high SATS may show intelligence, but a bad GPA will reflect entirely on your work ethics.

Finally, for extracurricular activities, obviously having a long list doesn't necessarily help you, just pick a few that you are passionate about, and that will reflect much more about yourself, like sports or reading books.

You asked what are the requirements for getting into UCLA, all of the above are listed to give you an idea of how to be given a competitive edge when it comes to college admissions to ANY college not just UCLA.

You may ask, why will taking the most challenging route make life easier? Well, you'll never have to wake up in the morning wondering if you are doing all that is humanly possible to get into college, and the matter of getting into college will not be a matter of "if" but "which one", such a sense of security is bound to make such a challenging academic endeavors worth enduring.
