The seven seals are found in Revelation chapter 6. They completely seal the scroll of end time prophecies that culminate with the return of Jesus Christ to the earth. They each symbolize the major global end time events that tell God's elect how close His return is.

The first four seals are four different colored horses with riders (the famous four horsemen of the Apocalypse), which Jesus reveals are: war, famine, pestilence, diseases and earthquakes... the main staple of man's existence on the earth from the beginning.

These things will increase in intensity and severity over time, as wars grow more deadly, which results in the increase and severity of the other plagues of the horsemen.

The fifth seal is revealed by Jesus in the 24th chapter of Matthew, verses 9-28, as a time of historically unprecedented Great Tribulation around the world in which His church is persecuted and pursued by Satan and the nations who hate and wish to kill His people. Some are arrested and killed for the mere utterance of His name, while others are protected by the earth.

The sixth seal is a time of "heavenly signs"... the darkening of the sun and the moon, earthquakes, meteor and asteroid showers, mountains and islands in the sea shifting. It will cause men to halt their frenzied persecutions and pogroms against God's elect, and to look up at the darkness and ponder what's coming.

The seventh seal is composed of "two sets of sevens." The first set is "seven trumpets" given to seven angels of God to sound, which results in the first seven plagues of God to be unleashed, marking it as the prophesied "Day of the Lord" when Jesus returns to earth with the Kingdom of God.

He returns "at the last trump"... at the sounding of the last Trumpet blast. (Rev.11)

With the blast of the seventh trumpet, Jesus appears in the dark clouds above the earth - the brilliance of the sun and fire circumference the earth as He sends His angels to gather His elect as they go. (Matt.24:30-31)

But, before He completes His descent upon the Mount of Olives with all of His resurrected and gathered saints and His army of angels... the second and last set of seven "vials of God's wrath" is poured out on the earth by seven angels. (Rev.16)

Satan causes the armies of the nations of the world to gather at Armageddon to stage all of their military might there... and try to defeat the "alien invaders" descending upon the earth. Jesus descends upon the earth, destroys all of man's military capability and his governments... and establishes the Kingdom of God on the earth.
