Stomach upset, headache, dizziness, trouble sleeping, or weight gain may occur. It depends on what medications you are being treated with. A lot of Crohn's patient's experience softer gums/gum issues, sore teeth, cavities, enamel breakdown and cracking teeth to the point that they may need removal. To avoid this is you are just beginning treatment, start a dose of Vitamin D every day, along with extra: Calcium, Zinc, Vitamin C, and B Vitamins. These are the most common deficiencies through not being absorbed by the gut as they would in other healthy people.
