If you mean Adderall XR than I can help. I have been on it for over a year now and have stopped several times. Stopping "cold turkey" is not bad, but you will have side effects. The SE will differ, depending on the person, but usually you can expect "withdraw" symptoms. Mine include: depressed mood ie. very negative thoughts, irritability, and fatigue. Your body is now driving itself instead of being boosted by amphetamines. The side effects are managable, but I found it important to realize they are just temporary. They will go away in a couple days. Some patients on Adderall XR will take the weekends off from taking it, which is call taking "Holidays". If you have a spouse or close friend I would make them aware of these SE's so they can remind you that these are just temporary.
