I'm trying not to be too biased, but it's hard to think of any advantages to CDs. MP3 players are far more flexible. I'm a mobile DJ and I use CDs for DJing, but only because I've got thousands of dollars invested in CD turntables, which aren't exactly portable. I bring literally thousands of CDs with me to every gig, but then I have trouble keeping my music library organised, so when a song is requested and I don't know off hand where it is in my CD collection, I often just play it off my iPod, which means I can't do much mixing. -DJ Craig Thats easy, an iPod is just a smaller version of a portable CD player that can hold a much larger amount of songs along with videos and pictures. I have a nano and love it. I highly suggest getting one. You can put all your CDs onto a device the size of a small cell phone.
