Similarities Both have inhabitants that are more similar than not in respect of religion, customs, beliefs, values etc.The residents of both village and cities enjoy equal rights and privileges.The family system remains the same in both hte cases to some extent. Father heads the family and he's entitled as the bread-winner while the mother takes care of the home. Differences There are more facilites in cities than in villages City dwellers have a relatively high literacy rate. The mortality rate in Villages is more than in cities when it comes to improper health facilities and the inverse when it come to accidents. The income level in cities is more than in village. Village economy is mainly based on agriculture while in cities it is industrial.The social activities are less in cities than in villages
