They are both probably located near rivers and lots of people vacation at both spots
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, or many islands.
There are no similarities between a beach and mountains! sorry unless you can think of one :) & your welcome for answering this question!
the best place to go is the rocky mountains in Canada or the himalayans ...(Canada is far nicer though)
