Depends on how the family was broken(fighting,divorce,etc) everyone see's the world differently where as one kid may not really feel much about it unless they were attached to there family. and the other may become obsessed with what happened thus prohibiting mental growth in some cases. They may become attached to whomever they have (who lives with them who they see the most family wise) but it all depends on the kid's themselves. I would sit and ask them questions no better place then the source.
