Making Protein
This is actually a biochemical question and is quite difficult to answer. Here's why.
Proteins are made up of 20 amino acids. Your body can make 12 of them and 8 of them must come from the diet. The body uses these amino acids like we use letters of the alphabet. Just as we carefully select letters to make certain words that make sentences that communicates what we want to say, the body puts amino acids together to make different body parts.
For example, hair, nails, skin, hormones, enzymes, muscles and other stuff are made up different combinations of amino acids to make parts of our body.
The steps the body uses to make protein vary depending upon what the body is making. There isn't one method the body uses to accomplish making protein.
