I have been dealing with this problem for about 4 hours now, this is what I have found out. Symptoms: Most electronics work, guages act funny, no battery voltage reading on console, vehicle will turn over but not start. (research has also found, but did not experience myself, tail lights don't work, vehicle shuts off while driving, fluctuating guages. "NO BUS" indication in the odometer, no trouble code available via "turn-key" method Basically, this sensor jacks your stuff up, and if it goes out it takes out other essential circuitry. How to fix: Buy a CHILTON auto manual, this will tell you hoe to troubleshoot and replace. This is an easy replacement that I believe any weekend warrior (like mysef) could do. I found this part at KRAGEN, NAPA Auto Parts, and Pep Boys. This item was not found in stock at any local stores however should not cost you more than $35-$50.
