Weak idle. Surging rpm's i.e. running up to 2500 - 3000 rpm's and than dropping off to 400-500 rpm's. It may just die outright and refuse to idle. May feel is though the engine is out of timing, like its just not firing when it is supposed to. Bogged down acceleration until in higher rpm's. It can manifest in many ways but almost any of them should throw a code to the computer. Get your car scanned for free at a place like Napa Auto or Autozone and look for any code involving the camshaft positioning.
