In soccer, the teams are the groups or organizations that cooperate among themselves to cause winning conditions while playing soccer. The team is often responsible for behind-the-scenes administration as well, such as provision for uniforms and equipment, maintenance of home field, public relations, and so on. In addition to the eleven starting players and seven named substitutes, the team will usually have several coaches, support people (water and towels, for example), and so on. Only eleven people from the team play in any given game at a time, but there may be over a hundred people behind them.
