OK, you can criticize me for answering a question without answering a question. I'll accept that.
A long time ago I purchased a book titled "The Programmer's Book of Rules", which was very insightful and detailed. Unfortunately, it was wrong.
Every situation is different, every language is different, every project is different. There cannot be one set of rules to apply to all situations.
For example, let's say that one of the computer code of ethics is that "Though shalt not use the company computer for personal use." This can't be a hard-and-fast rule; it's up to the employer to decide...not some "know-it-all" to dictate.
I've had jobs where it was OK to pass jokes along to co-workers (even the owner of the company), and I've had jobs where you would be fired for such.
If anyone posts your ten computer codes of ethics, I'd argue that they apply only to their unique sitation.
