This is not actually a question. However there are so many that it is impossible to count. There are many groups of people who call themselves a church. A true church in the biblical sense is a group of people who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and meet together on a regular basis.

Roman Catholic AnswerChurch: from the Greek, meaning the Lord's [house] (cf. Ecclesia).

i. A place of Christian worship (see below).

ii. The whole visible society in communion with the pope, the Church of Christ.

iii. The Christians of a patriarchate or other delimitation, e.g. the Western Church, the Maronite Church.

iv. The Christians of a particular diocese or, in the days before such were organized, of a single town or province, e.g., The Church of Plymouth, of Corinth. These are exact meanings; the following uses are also sometimes met.

v. A single family of Christians (Rom. xvi, 5).

vi. The pastors of the Church (Matt. xviii, 17).

vii. Those who are in the clerical state and whose lives are devoted to the service of the Church.

viii. The name is properly extended tot he ancient non-Catholic churches of the East, as was done of Pope Pius IX in his brief Arcano divinaew providentiae of 1868, addressed to "the Bishops of the Churches of the Eastern Rite who are not in communion with the Apostolic See."; but to Protestant religious organizations only by courtesy.

The other meaning of the word is the building that is set apart for ever for public Christian worship, namely for the offering up of the holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the singing of the Divine Office, the administration of the sacraments, and for the use of the faithful generally.

The word can also be used in conjunction with another, such as Church Militant were it means: The members of the Church of Christ living on earth at any given moment; they are engaged in the warfare of earthly life. This is contrasted with The Church Suffering which refers to the souls who at any given moment are detained in Purgatory till they are purified and fit for the "place of refreshment, light and peace" in Heaven. and The Church Triumphant which refers to the souls in Heaven: together with the above two it forms the one Communion of Saints.
