I just found black mold in the bottom of a box of Kellog's All Bran Buds. A fair quantity of the cereal had fallen from the inner bag into the cardboard box during pouring (due to the bag being too small for the box!). One morning I finally decided to remove the bag and pour the cereal back into it. When I did, I noticed some cereal stuck to the inside bottom of the box, with a lot of black mold on it and the surrounding cardboard. How disgusting, completely unhealthy, and probably dangerous to my lungs.

A quaker gun is a log, painted black, to look like a cannon in the 18th and 19th centuries. May be used today as an expression to tell when someone is trying to be threatening but really has nothing to back it up.

What Remains Inside a Black Hole was created in 1996.
Dirty Diaper: white outside and black inside.
Quaker guns were used by the confederates at forts that didn't have real cannons. So they improvised trying to fool union officers into thinking that the fort is "well gunned". Quaker guns were logs made to look like cannons and painted black, and sometimes to make it look more real they have stacks of cannonballs nearby
