An internet service provider is a company that offers it's customers access to the internet. ISPs can offer internet through cable, DSL, dialup, Fiber Optics, and even satellite.

Many ISPs also offer cable/satellite tv, and phone along with the internet connection.

Some of the more well known ISPs are:

AT&T:DSL

Qwest:DSL

Earthlink:Dialup

Verizon:DSL/Fiber Optics

Hughestnet:Satellite

Road Runner:Cable
