That list is automated. The site calculates your contributions and adds your name to the list.
What happened to the green WikiAnswers site?
WikiAnswers has done a lot of new maintenance updates to WikiAnswers, thus providing us with a whole new website with different colors, format etc., I don't believe there is an archive of the old WA either.
Do you get an email if someone answers a question you posted on WikiAnswer?
Yes, If you make a question on WikiAnswers you should get an email, about someone answering your question. It is called Watch or Updates at anytime you can unwatch it or cancel the updates.
How do you watch questions on WikiAnswers?
To watch questions on WikiAnswers, if you are on a Question's Home Page, click "Get Updates" and you will now receive updates when the answer has been edited, answered, etc. To view/change your watchlist, go to the blue tool bar to the left of the page. Then, under "My pages" at the bottom, click "My watchlist" to change/view your watchlist.
How do you know if your question has been answered on WikiAnswers?
If you are a registered user, you can sign up to receive updates from a question by e-mail. Just click "My settings", enter in your e-mail address and choose "all updates".
