This is a very broad question and it really depends on the type of cake you're baking. To make a 2-tier, 8" yellow cake, you would need the following:
2- 8" baking pans
parchment paper - to line the pans
measuring cups, both solid and liquid
measuring spoons
standing mixer, i.e. Kitchen Aid, equipped with the paddle
spatula - to scrape down the bowl
toothpick - to test for doneness
wire rack - to invert the cake and allow it to cool
serrated knife - to cut the crowns off the tops of the layers and torte the cake, if desired
There are many utensils but make a cake in anmonia types of utensils is a good.
you need a cake pan special for the oven, it shuld be able to resist high temps.
Typically a baking tray, cake tin, ring pan, fairy cake tray and other variations are all used to bake cakes in an oven. Although I personally would not class these items as utensils.
Cake tin.

It is preferred that you use baking cups so they will not stick to the pan or crumble when you try to eat them. If you are making them for a party or event, stick with baking cups. Otherwise, when you just feel like making some, it is recommended that you use Vegetable Cooking Spray :)
