Those are the wires that relay the information from the ECM / Engine control module to the fuel injectors so they will deliver fuel to the engine as needed.
On the '94, you probably have a 'Z' engine and you'll need a distributor with top-mounted plug wires. If I am wrong and you have a 'W' motor, you'll need a distributor with side mounted wires (serious pain). They are both top mount plug wires. It was not until later they had the side mount wires. Vin "Z" is a TBI (throttle body) Vin "W" is Vortec. TBI has breather mounted on intake Vortec says Vortec on Intake
If it hasn't been changed, it has Throttle Body Injection (TBI). It looks similar to a carb but it will have wires running to it.
It is on the passenger side of the carb, and has four wires going to it with a square connection for the wires. You need a large crescent wrench to take it out after the wire connector is removed.
YES
yes they will
you can as long as you use your TBI heads if you want to use the vortec heads with TBI you will need a special intake manifold or a carb manifold with a adapter to mount your throttle body to the carb manifold heres some more info TBI heads will mount to the vortec block TBI intake manifold has 12 bolts vortec intake manifold has 8 bolts
more apt to be the engine control module
no such thing as a vortec 5.3 tbi
Its TBI Vin "W" is CPI.
It has TBI / Throttle body injection.
on tbi engines 2 injectors 2 wires to 1 injector same to other on seqential inj 8 injectors 2 wires each 1wire fused positive feed other goes to ecu is then switched electronically on and off by ecu
Fuel pump relay is located under the hood on passenger side bolted to the firewall a few inches below the windshield. It is black and has wires going into it.
