Flour and grain mites particularly like moister, more available and older flours and grains. So check for food shelf life, moisture, spills, and tightness of covers and lids.
Not sure what u mean they are on. If you are seeing them on flowers or roses or some other plant then they are prolly aphids. can be treated with pesticides you would get from wal-mart.
