What are tips for the seasonal storage of small gas engines?

OK. In winter time you'd want to use a heavier weight oil, so it doesn't thicken up, such as 10w-40. Gasoline will also go bad, so you can buy stabilizer to put in your tanks, or just drain the engine.

Use STA-BIL in the gas and run the engine for a bit after you add it to the fuel. I would also use the STA-BIL cylinder fogging spray. After the engine cools down, remover the spark plug and spray it into the cylinder.
