Tory/Tories are a traditional political philosophy and political party which was established in Britain after the War of the Three Kingdoms. It is well known for the Tory party in England. Tories also exist in many Commonwealth nations and is particularly well known in Canada.

Loyalists during the US revolution in 1776 were essentially Tories.

Tories advocate the monarchy of England, are usually Anglicans/Episcopals, and conservative political ideals.
