What are total album sales for kiss?

Answer:
Over 200 milliion albums and DVDs worldwide. In 2007 according to RIAA, KISS sold about 20 million DVDS of KISSology I,II and III and the RIAA figures for sales of albums are around 20 million . There are various sources of getting sales info. As far as the US is concerned the RIAA certification system may be flawed, and now many people base their views on Soundscan system. The problem is that Soundscan started working in late 1991, so it misses the 70s and 80s, when the band's selling force was at its heyday. There isn't much data concerning the rest of the world, although KISS have been very commercially successful (Europe, Japan, Australia, South America etc). Making a more or less correct assumption that KISS' sales are higher outside the USA, then the total number of album sales over 100 million copies worldwide. KISS has more fans per capita outside the US. On top of that, and knowing that KISS have played for about 16 million people the last 15 years in concerts, it is plausible to assume that their total tour attendance (from 1973 to day) exceeds 30,000,000 people (tickets). There are also (worldwide) sales of over 100 million copies DVDs and a turnover over $1 billion (!!) from merchandise....

In truth, it totals Eleventy Zillion albums now in 2010.
