AnswerHe should be alert and be organised all the time.

He should not be careless as there might be mistakes made, eg. using wrong chemicals as a result of unmarked beakers etc.

He should also be humble and interested in the work he is doing. What he is doing should be for the good of humans and not just the scientist himself.

He ought to be persistent and be willing to spend time for thourough research and try again and again before getting an answer to his research questions. He should never give up.

He should be honest and carry out an honest research which is done by him or her self.

Traits And Attitudes Of A Scientist

1. Open-mindedness - A person who possesses this attitude tries to be objective and sees different sides of an issue. He/She doesn't make rush conclusions, judgments or decisions. He/ She are willing to listen to the opinion of others and to study counter arguments or experimental evidences before taking action.

2. Critical Outlook - A person w/ this attitude does not readily believe statements for or against a person, a commercial product, an idea, etc. He/She first analyzes the claims or arguments given, investigates who made the statements, checks if these are unbiased and logical, and ascertains that there are no inconsistencies in the statements.

3. Truthfulness - Truth is sty the very foundation of science. People pursue science basically because of their desire to know the truth about things in this world. People are curious because they want to know the truth.

-A person who values truthfulness has a passion for investigating and experimenting , is honest in recording and reporting observations, takes a stand on what he/she believes is true, and readily admits a mistake if proven wrong.

1. Inquisitive - They ask who, what, where, when and why

2. Explorative - They employ the scientific approach in exploring a problem and design experiments to test their theories.

3. Persistent

4. Creative - To solve a problem, they often have to be creative in uncharted territory especially in astronomy and physics.

5. Analytical - They observe what is happening and analyze the problem to come up with solutions.
