What are v6 v8 v10 and v12 engines?

Answer:

Answer

V-configuration engines were designed because they are compact and can be lightweight. A inline 6 cylinder for instance requires more room because of its length; a V6 can be shorter and therefore lighter, more compact and more powerful. V engines also allow cylinders to be close together so they can share rod journals, which also saves weight.
