Veterans are those individuals that served in the armed forces of their country. They put their lives at risk, voluntarily or by being drafted, to serve their country. Their service provides security to the country in many ways, allowing those at home to be safe and maintain their rights.

  • Veterans is a term more used in the USA and Canada than in Britain to describe people who have served in the armed forces.
