A violin is a wooden instrument with two s shaped holes either side of the bridge. These are called the f holes. Inside the violin there is a wooden post called the sound post and there is usually a tag inside the violin as well which tells you what violin it is and where it came from.

The viola is a wooden stringed instrument. It looks very similar to a violin, except it's bigger. It has 4 strings (A, D, G, C) 4 wooden pegs above the neck, by the scroll, and has two f-holes by the bridge of the instrument. And a chin rest. In simpler terms, it looks like the picture below.
it is wooden(can be polished or natural), and is in a figure of 8 type shape. there is a finger board that will most likely be black on the top. there OS also a chin rest n the top, a black oval shape that you put your chin on.
a violin is what would be described as pear-shaped, like a guitar (do NOT ask me how this came about...). unlike a guitar, the edges are... sharper? sorry, it's difficult to describe but you will easily find a picture of one!
A viola looks exactly like a violin, only slightly bigger an with different strings.

Usually, people just stick with the regular wood look. I have a really nice violin and it looks like polished wood. Mine is rather dark colored.
A cello and a double bass are both larger than violins. The double bass would be considered a giant violin.
I put Windex on my violin to clean it and it looks on the neck there was a bit of color disorientation worked though.
she was 35 year old when she made one that looks like the modern one we have today. "She" was a "he". There's no evidence he invented the violing and no one could possibly know his age when he first began making a violin!
It sounds like an instrument. It plays notes. It's a violin. Go look at violin solos.
It looks kinda like a violin. See:
this happens by the part that looks like a guitar,it vibrates the sound while your playin the violin
It looks a little like a giant violin. Take a look at the Related Link below for photos and information. Yea it pretty much looks like a giant violin. Except it is fatter, it has an ajustable spike at the bottom of it to hold it up to your height. The bow is also shorter but stockier.
No, the viola resembles a violin. It looks almost exactly like a violin, in fact, just it is larger and has slightly different proportions.
That is a hurdy gurdy.

A violin can be any color you want it to be. But the most typical color is a shade of brown, which looks classy and professional.

Yes there is. It looks similar to an 'ordinary' violin - except that it includes an electronic pick-up (like you find on electric guitars). The pick-up includes a socket to attach a lead - which is fed to an amplifier.
Love Is Like a Violin was created in 1985.
