I live in Naperville, Winters here are pretty cold. There really isn't much of a spring or fall here, not much weather for light denim jackets in between Winter and Summer. My favorite season is fall. Now it's late September and the neighbors are sunning themselves on the deck in bikini's! That's how crazy the weather is. So yes winters are pretty cold but around Christmas time it has that cozy feel to it as well. It is a suburb of Chicago so as you would expect there is a fair amount of snow in the winter months and temperatures can dip below zero Fahrenheit.
