∙ 13y agoIf you are hurt on the job workers comp should cover 2/3 of your weekly salary. If you are hurt outside of work and dont go to work then you must rely on vacation time and sick time that you have earned.
Better answer: Yes, if you do not work, there is no salary due. You might have vacation if the employer offers it. If your hurt was on the job, you have WC benefits - and STILL no salary, since you are not working.

If he does not have worker's comp, see an attorney about filing a law suit against your employer.
