I am regularly criticised about being feminine (I am a male) or not as masculine as the stereotyped male.
I react badly and take a long time to get over each comment.
I work through this in psychoanalysis - which is the only real way I have found to progress and move past my belief that the outside can define who I am.
My girlfriend is a strong support for me and has helped build my faith in love and trust that people can connect with my true essence without focusing on stereotypes.
