After producing and performing on at least one solo album (Wilson, Gale, and Co.) in the 80's he ended up auctioning off most his ELO memorobilia and settling into normal life. Last known he was managed a CD manufacturer in London

He was indeed a reputable Director of a record/CD manufacturer for over 20 years and now teaches piano and cello to young aspiring musicians in the Kent area. He is happy and healthy and has loads of his ELO memorobilia at home on his wall along with some beautiful instruments. I know this because I am his daughter.. =)
