Dry it out as quickly and thoroughly as possible, consider using alcohol to dissolve the water and dry out quicker. Take as much apart as possible and dry all interior surfaces.
Give the camera to a professional for repair.
Do not attempt to turn it on. Remove the battery and memory card and anything else that can be removed. Open anything that can be opened to allow air to pass through it and set it by a fan for a steady breeze for a couple days. When you feel it is thoroughly dry, let it dry a little longer, then put the stuff back in it and hope it turns on and functions properly. A good way to avoid this is to buy a camera that is waterproof. They are the same price as most that aren't waterproof. Assuming the camera is worth saving, there is another school of thought and is one that I would follow if I could get the camera to a repair shop within 24 hours. I would remove batteries as noted, then keep it in a container of water and transport it to the shop. They have the best chance of drying it out and preventing rust/corrosion from getting started. You have little chance of getting all the moisture out without taking it apart.
Drop it in water?
The new digital cameras and pocket cameras are very durable these days and should not break from a simple drop. However there are hard carrying cases that you can get for them but not much available that you can put them in while you take the picture.
The difference between a disposable and digital camera is that a disposable camera gets its photos developed and is disposed after it's use. A digital camera lasts for the life of the camera and can store its high quality photos inside its memory.
Digital cameras have been a boom for photography. Not having to buy film means you can take thousand of shots and they don't cost a dime except for the batteries. Digital cameras burn through a lot of batteries. And if you use the flash, you can almost see the power level in your batteries drop. Save money by using rechargables for your camera batteries.
cry. i would.
The most spectacular photographs ever created on the subject of water appear in this unique science book by Walter Wick. The camera stops the action and magnifies it so that all the amazing states of water can be observed - water as ice, rainbow, stream, frost, dew. Readers can examine a drop of water as it falls from a faucet, see a drop of water as it splashes on a hard...more
Using, and becoming proficient with, a single lens reflex (SLR) camera is one of the pinnacles of amateur photography, and with the drop in cost and the increase in quality of digital technology; every serious photographer should use a digital SLR. The cameras are very versatile and offer the user the ability to create the photograph he actually envisions. With the multitude of settings on a digital SLR, the photographer can go from being a complete point and shoot novice to managing every little detail in the photograph, all without having to further upgrade to a new camera.
Don't ever drop your camera (I learned this the hard way). Also, clean the lens of the camera when it gets dirty (Not with your fingers).
Man... Just drop it... whatever you are trying to do... just drop it. REALLY.
Using digital photography is generally easier and more economical than traditional film photography. With a film camera, you must purchase film again and again. You have to drop the film off and pay to have it developed, then you must pick it up again. You do not have the ability to alter or edit the photograph. With a digital camera, you have complete control over the editing of the pictures and there is no developing required. You may simply upload the photos to your computer, edit the photos at will and easliy share them with others. There is no film to buy and no waiting to view your pictures.
It can and it sometimes it can't. It depends if the water drop was close to it. If was close to it the water drop would attrack the next water drop you drop
