Many Italian Seasoning will contain Oregano. You can substitute basil, but the flavor won't be the same. If you really dislike oregano play with another earthy, wood herb like Rosemary or Thyme.

Rosemary, sage and thyme are all herbs.
well that depends, if you have a shady spot were you want to grow herbs rosemary would be easier, thyme likes sun lite.
There is no viable substitute for sage, as all herbs have their own distinct aromas. However, some recipes asking for sage can also be prepared using rosemary instead.
