It has a range of industrial uses as well as raw material for cement and lime: masonry and sculptural stone, hard-core for roads etc,as a flux in iron-oresmelting and glass-making, as a source of calcium carbonate for various purposes.

Statues, buildings and grave stones. It gets corroded away eventually though with acid rain
