Gelatin and calcium are the obvious choices. My aunt took gelatin pills that she picked up from the pharmacy and her nails got significantly stronger. Calcium can also be taken in pill form, but if you're drinking enough milk or ingesting enough dairy then you probably won't benefit too much more from this. If you already have a great deal of calcium in your diet, look at your potassium (i.e. found in bananas) - as the potassium is what helps your body intake the calcium from your foods and beverages. Also, Invest in a good nail hardener, and make sure to cut your nails if you have any snags - don't peel it off - it weakens the nail.

Yogurt

Lean Meats, Fish, and Poultry
Beans, Tofu, Lentils, and other Legumes
Grains, including bread and pasta
Nuts and Seeds
Strengthen your nails with a strengthening nail polish. Rub olive oil on them nightly to keep them beautiful. There is no point having long fingernails if they're ugly and broken. Likewise give your hair hot oil treatments. Heat helps hair grow so use a quality flat or curling iron on your hair. Remember to use a heat protectant. Take vitamins like Centrum with Vitamin D in them. Just stay healthy and your hair and nails will grow!
