If you didn't buy long a go, you might still be under the recision period, check on that ASAP, is that is not a choice: then resale is the next step.
To resale or rent a timeshare is a hard task, a basic rule is : don't pay money up-front, there are some free classified adds where you can post it and get some hits:

You can try renting it out or if you want to get of it, try reselling it. You should get a return out of it. Otherwise, it will be just a financial liability.
Three days is within the cooling-off period in most states. You can still back out from the contract if it's within that period.
You can still avail for the rescission period. It is a law adopted by almost all states.
